Thai nationals exempted from airport immigration form

Post by BobHelm » September 14, 2017, 7:07 pm

It seems that Thai nationals no longer need to take the silly step of filling out a TM6 form when leaving/entering Thailand.
Good news for anyone traveling with a Thai partner!!

I understand that there will be a new TM6 (single page ??) form introduced shortly.
The good news, on that front, is that the old forms can still be used 'until they run out'.
As someone who 'accumulates' Immigration forms & fills in beforehand that is good news for me.. :D

The new form asks for the same info as the current, folding, 3-part TM6 on a one-sided, tear down the middle type form designed by the PM to make things easier for TAT's statistic makers but not for immigration... or the immigrants.

Bring your own magnifying glasses!

And guaranteed the munter family immediately in front of you in the queue still won't have a pen either.
