Qantas and British Airways today opened their new Bangkok Business lounge overlooking the gardens at Survarnabhumi Airport. At the opening, Qantas and British Airways also revealed that their First class lounge, adjacent to their new Business lounge, will open at Suvarnabhumi Airport on 11 May 2007.

The new lounge has been specially conceived with the business traveller in mind and is 40 per cent larger than the previous lounge with seating capacity increased from 185 to 249 seats.

Qantas and British Airways Manager Thailand Julianne Rogers said that Bangkok was an important hub within the Qantas and British Airways networks.
