Has anyone used Jetstar Airlines. Have a trip booked by a friend to Singapore in August and they've put us on Jetstar from BKK to SIN...
Any experiences / thoughts of the airline would be good

Just a word of caution - recently a Jetstar OZ (the poor relation of QANTAS) had a plane broken down in Hawaii and the passengers had to pay all their own accommodation and other costs for the 3 days the plane was being repaired. Other airlines generally seem to make arrangements to move stranded passengers, but at least in this case, it didn't happen. There are also issues with passengers who book QANTAS flights ending up on Jetstar flights with the lower service without any refund. I steer clear of both of them.
