Has anyone used Jetstar Airlines. Have a trip booked by a friend to Singapore in August and they've put us on Jetstar from BKK to SIN...

Any experiences / thoughts of the airline would be good

There are two Jetstar airlines

Jetstar Australia

Jetstar Asia (Singapore based)

Both run into Thailand !!

Yes, I gave links to both, but I think the first one is the one that Kudjap wants. :D

In fact I see there are reports on BKK flights under both.

Just a word of caution - recently a Jetstar OZ (the poor relation of QANTAS) had a plane broken down in Hawaii and the passengers had to pay all their own accommodation and other costs for the 3 days the plane was being repaired. Other airlines generally seem to make arrangements to move stranded passengers, but at least in this case, it didn't happen. There are also issues with passengers who book QANTAS flights ending up on Jetstar flights with the lower service without any refund. I steer clear of both of them.

OK thanks, not sure what our friend has paid for the flights but I just saw on the Tiger Air website their cost for retrun flight UTH-SIN-UTH is 2,000 bht......probably a sit down shut up and bring your own sandwiches flight but hey ho its cheap
