HOTELS NEAR DON MUANG AIRPORT

I have a friend coming in late April who needs to stay overnight near the Don Muang Airport.
RECENT recommendations please.

November last year stayed at Amari Don Muang Airport Bangkok Hotel.
Nothing to write home about at the price (£50), but super-convenient for the airport - just a walk over the road bridge that connects the hotel to the airport.

Agreed, I use the Amari if laying over for a morning connection to Udon. A bit weather beaten but has a good bistro open until about 23:00 for a meal and beer.

Note; just be careful of the escalator leading down to the foyer from the sky bridge if you have heavy luggage. It starts automatically and near on sent me A over T on 2 occasions.

Agree. Convenient. Also good for a long layover. Henry J. Bean's is worth a visit.
