Transport Offices and road tax payments
Transport Offices and road tax payments
I read that driving license renewals have been suspended but does anyone know if they are still handling road tax payments? They may have also started cutting back on the 'satellite' offices like at AEK Udon so wondering if that's still open? I understand that tax can be paid at service desks at Big C etc., but I always preferred to do it one-stop at the AEK office.

Easiest way to do Car Tax is at the drive through.
You need the Compulsory Insurance cert & just drive to the office at the beginning of town from the Underpass.
Wind your window down hand over the Green book & Insurance pay the money and drive out the other end.

I was sure anyone with commonsense could work that out.
You can only re-tax your car at that office you can not change ownership etc.

I agree with you there but I have taxed 2 cars and a motorbike at the Drivethru and it has never taken me more than 10 mins from driving in and driving out with the new tax disc

If your car is 7+ years old you will need to get it inspected at your choice of inspection stations around town before paying your road tax. There's one beside Smart Drive on Nong Bua road just east of the Ring Road and another on the west side of the Ring Road just south of the older Big-C. You can pay them a small fee to pay the road tax for you, then pick up your receipt and sticker from the same place the next day. I would bet they can facilitate payment of the road tax even if you have a newer model car that doesn't require an inspection. Just ask!
Colossians 2:8-10...See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, which are based on human tradition and the spiritual forces of the world rather than on Christ. For in HIM dwells all the fullness of the GODHEAD bodily; and you are complete in HIM, who is the head of all principality and power.

Re: Transport Offices and road tax payments
When you drive into the Land/Transport office turn right and you cant miss the big sign stating Drive Through.
There are 2 booths just like on the Tollways but usually only 1 open.

There is a office where you can buy the compulsory Insurance immediately on the left as you drive through the gate.
