Can anyone tell me what the skinny is on long term parking is at or around the train station? Either car or motorbike, I can do either (or just Grab if it comes to that). By long term I mean 3 - 5 days or so. Thanks!
(Sorry if this has been asked before. I tried the search function, swear!)

Re: Train Station Parking
Convoluted enquiry ????
As far as I know one can just park their car anywhere in that area (black and white curb) and just walk away from it.
The only secured parking is about 200 metres toward the Bangkok Hospital which they used during renovations.

Re: Train Station Parking
So I went down there today and asked.
The official train station spots are 50 bhat/day. Who and how you'd pay is unclear. My Thai is limited and the info desk guys English is non-existent. Also which spots those are exactly, unclear. I'd guess somewhere in that tiny little station I could make it work on game day though.
The other spots around have signage indicating 20 baht/day and are semi-official (?). Again my limited Thai holding me back, I can only barely read, but they appear to be some kind of city concession or something. Again I'm at a loss as to exactly who collects and how.
The covered ones further north behind the night market are Bangkok Hospital staff parking. Looks like a no-go.
I didn't check the UD Town options.
I'm still looking for more info if anyone's got it, but this trip is looking more and more like Grab by the day.

Re: Train Station Parking
That parking gets very busy evenings and weekends so if it were me, I'd leave my car or bike at home and grab a Grab.
There's another ride hailing service in town BTW. I've seen their cars with the decals on the door or back window. Can't recall the name at the moment.
Edit: just did a kwik google and it's called maxim with an app you can download. Their website is taximaxim.com
