As for the routes that will be back open for service, they include Line 20, Big C Department Store, Udon Thani - Udon Thani Airport. Starting from Big C Udon Thani Department Store. Passing Muang Thong Market, Nong Bua Market, UD Town Mall. Udon Thani Railway Station Central Udon Department Store Bus Terminal 1, Isaan Thai Market, Nam Phu Roundabout, Tang Ngee Sun Shop, Thung Si Mueang, Udon Pittayanukul School, Vocational Intersection, Wat Phothisomporn, Phosri Market, Ban Lueam Intersection. Bus Station 2, Udon Thani College of Physical Education Udon Airport Hotel Udon Phichairak Pittaya School and Udon Thani Airport

Actually how many Udonmap patrons had used the service?

Several west-end bar crawlers used to jump on it to head into the guts of the city for more beer and skittles on Sampan. I also recall some inner-loopers using it to do their east-end shopping at Big C Nittayo.

pooclover's translation from the manager online link details the "Big C - cross town - Airport" route is almost the same as before.

New route?

A picture in the manager online article suggests a "Sam Phrao - cross town - Ban Lueam" route. Maybe that's a new or proposed route? From their old FB page, they had a "north - cross town - south" route.

Old routes

Looks like using a downtown bus change would get you to/from most of the extremities.

As for the schedule and frequency, the west-enders would check it's location on the app and order a last drink when the bus left the airport. If they didn't go to the bathroom, they had enough time to finish the beer and pay the bill before it passed Chris's. If they went for a piss, they'd miss the bus and wait for the next one. Thirty minutes rings a bell.

could have sworn I was an article on it months ago that showed the route by Big C actually going further east for about 4km and doing a U-Turn near the Labor Court on Rte 22.. My recollection is that it also showed a route on the Ring Road east side to west side too...

dug through the City website but as of yet can't find anything on it about the new bus routes. It does have some decent info (make sure your browser translates to English) particularly in the News and Events, Press Releases
