Wow, I don't think you will get a positive YES to this.
It SHOULD be long enough but you never know.
Last time I landed in BKK I was unlucky enough to have landed behind what seemed to me to be the entire Chinese nation. Immigration took over 2 hours!!! But from previous visits I think I was really unlucky...

In late August I had a 3hr time slot to get across to Don Muang and NO luggage to wait for.....missed connection flight to Udon by 10mins :( ......had to get Taxi to Udon at 4000bht (couldn't be bothered with the bus) but the Taxi ran out of LPG 26kms short of Udon and wouldnn't switch over to Gasoline due to a fuel pump fault :? ...had to phone the wife to come and meet me and the Taxi in the car so I could tow the Taxi to a Gas station then finaly drive myself home the last few kms :cry: .... hope you have a better trip :lol: :lol:

I would think that as Air Asia departs from the same airport you would have to be dead unlucky not to connect with a 3 hour slot.
Gurgle, Gurgle...

What is the required checkin time for flights now?It may enter into your time equation!I would call AirAsia to confirm and the hope what they tell you is fact! :lol:

Friendly reminder at the bottom of the AirAsia ticket

AirAsia is strictly a point-to-point carrier and shall not be responsible to you for any connecting flights;
