Post by Naam Jai » November 23, 2007, 5:05 am

Late November prices.
Booking at the airport ,Nok Air now fly at 7.30, 13.50.18.10 but the fares start from 1450bht. If you book 4 days in advance the fare is 1700bht, 8 days in advance it drops to 1600bht. Air Asia told me their 4 or 8 days advance booking was 1250 bht.Thai advance booking for 4 or 8 days is 1800bht. The times are 11.10,15,10.19.45

Hi,
Went with Air asia to BKK, one way was charge 990B on internet, but i believe Air Asia stops flights to BKK next week. Came back with Thai and was charged 2400B at BKK airport.
Cheers Doug.

Just did a test on the airasia website. They came back with a 9 baht promotional fare for UTH to BKK on March 11th. Seems they are still selling seats four months from now.

Is it cheaper to buy the tickets in advance at the airport ot travel agent and if so which do you recommend?

Certainly cheaper to buy in advance than turning up at the airport & 'buying & flying'.
You can buy via the internet, I believe, (as I have never done for internal Thai flights) or over the phone (Thai speaker required) & pay 7/11 for Nok at least.
I used @ Here Travel (on the road to the Night Market) simply because I needed to book BKK/London as well. They certainly provided me with a quick, cheap & friendly service.

I just flew in from Bangkok with Air Asia. Used a travel agent in Pattaya.

3200 baht return. Booked tickets 21 nov, flew 22 nov. Too easy.
Such is life.
