Any recommendation about where to find a good place in Udon to get new full dentures made most welcome.

Cost etc.?

A friend went to Ratchanai Dental clinic just under 2 years ago for a set of gnashers and, as far as I am aware, they are still going strong now.Check the Business Index on the website for Dentists and give them a call if need be for prices/appointment.

Must admit when he becomes an annoyance, I go looking to buy him a toffee apple to get stuck into

I went to the dentist right next to Ratchanai dental clinic by the clocktower circle.I think it is called K dental clinic or something similar.They had 2 options for a full set of dentures -7000 baht and 9000baht. I chose the 9000 baht set and they are the best dentures i have ever had and no problems in the 12 months i have had them. The dentist is a young bloke with enough english to get by. I found the service and the dentures excellent so you might like consider using this dentist.
