A good neurologist

Post by madpsyontist » October 5, 2005, 1:19 am

Hello. I was wondering can anyone recommend a good neurologist or a hospital in Udon with a good neurology program. Apparently my aunt in Udon keeps having dizzy spells and faints.

She has been to Nong Prajak for the 30 baht program. They do bloodwork and whatnot but each time they tell her that they cannot find anything wrong with her. The last time she fainted she was out for about 2 hours.

We'd like to send her somewhere to get looked at by a neurologist. Who knows maybe its nothing serious but we dont want to take that chance.

Your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Tony

Hi Tony,

You may have already checked out the AEK Udon Hospital but, just in case, here is their link:

I didn't notice a neurologist on their staff but maybe if you contacted them they could recommend a local one.
Google search shows quite a few in Thailand but mostly in Bangkok area. Here's the link anyway:

Good luck in finding one for your aunt.

There are CAT scanners in Udon and also an MRI scanner at the military hospital that can be used by the public for a fee of 10000 Bht.
