Tam, see Manit at Udorn Optical. I've been using him for 14 years, and he is top notch. Has good equipment and excellent prices. He will bargain with you. He is university graduated in optometry and speaks excellent English. He's Chinese/Thai and his family has been running this business for years. Tell him Patrick sent you and he will probably give you an extra discount. I've sent lots of people his way, and he is always grateful, and the customer has always been satisfied. Udon Optical are very good, but I had to go to a hospital if I wanted a glaucoma test.

If one needs more advanced eye exams from an Ophthalmologist, see Dr. Patsathorn just around the corner from Udorn Optical. His Facebook page and location are below. He's very good and speaks good English. He helped me a lot! His clinic hours are Monday to Friday 5-8 PM and Saturday 9 AM -5 PM. He also practices at Udon Thani Hospital.

If you're in Udon Thani, I recommend checking out Optical 88 or Fifty Vision. I went to Optical 88 for an eye exam last year, and they did a thorough job. They have a solid selection of frames, too. Just give them a call to see what kind of tests they offer; it’s always good to know what to expect before you go in!
