We were sent to this Dentist by a friend and have seen her for about a year now, not expensive at least in my thoughts. speaks good english, and gentle. A word of caution two of my friends complained about her, others have nothing but good things to say. But to each his own I and my wife are very satisfied. Just providing it as an alternative. The only thing I can provide is a phone number as to lacation near Mia's resturant.businessman wrote:Have always taken the children and in laws to the Ek Udon.No problems and no tantrums.

Sincere apologies - I seem to have overlooked this post and it escaped me - I was not ignoring you.
I can't find the business card of the dentist spoken about however, I can give you directions. From the complex walk down to the junction with the lights. cross straight over and walk past 7-11 on the next block before 407 bus company u will see the small dentist shop - there is only one. the best dentist in there is called Nittiya and she speaks very good English- has an excellent calming manner and more importantly has some fantastic looking dental assistants
I had two crowns done (gold content) and had about 3 visits in all - the total cost was 15,000 baht.(payable in installments) The crowns were made in Bkk and sent up here. Initilaly, she thought i would need root canal treatment- to which I almost fainted with fear - but after x-rays she saw it was not quite as bad as would be fine with crowns (phew).
hope this helps - and sorry for the late reply

Paul, just spotted your post about dentists. Any idea what she (Nittiya) charges for more routine matters like a clean and polish, or small filling?Paul wrote:Sincere apologies - I seem to have overlooked this post and it escaped me - I was not ignoring you.

Open wide, now!
Sorry couldn't possibly say because I have had neither done there.
I try to keep away from dentists if I can - and my last (only) visit for the crowns was unavoidable.
I dont think the cost is as important as a dentist you feel comfortable with.
I went to another one a couple of years ago and she was trained in some sort of boot camp - i think. She asked me to hold the mirror in my left hand and whenI gripped it in my right hand she shouted "I said LEFT hand" - put the fear of God into me - I didn't go back !!!!
Being Thailand - it will be resaonable cost so stop worrying about it.
