Cost of Dental Care
Cost of Dental Care
My Daughter will need to have some adjustment for her teeth as they are somwhat misaligned, probably just reguler braces adjusted over a period of time, I was concerned how much this might cost and if anyone could provide me with some ballpark pricing for this procedure. Thanks

i asked lots of girls in Udon and Bangers how much there orthidontic braces were, as it seems lots of people having them i think its the fashion thing to do now, they all said around and up the 30000 baht mark, and come in differant colours. !
My Wife has just had her top teeth done but this was done in the UK over a period of 11 months cost was ฃ1700. in baht around 110.000 BAHT !!!
monthly visits for adjustments, so can't see it being any differant for Thailand, every thing will depend on how bad the teeth are, best get a recommendation to find a good orthidontist.
and she may need to wear a retainer at night or for several hours a day forever to stop the teeth going back out of shape.
Retainers will be a clear plastic type and you would'nt notice someone wearing one.
Her brace was as clear as possible so it did not notice too much.
All the ones i saw in Thailand were coloured and very noticable.
This was mine and my TW's recent experiance in the UK.

There was also a full page spread in the BKK Post approx 1-2 years ago from the College of Dentists in Thailand, saying how they need to be professional on all this and not just sell the orthodontal braces for fashion, but these are the same guys who will market with real diamonds in them !! and that is the Siam Square crowd !
Change the Colour bands, and bought in pay by the month, as it took off like wild fire.
Mind u, its still approx 50-70 % cheaper than a full treatment in Australia.
