Not in udon, however the Khon Kaen university faculty of medicine is excellent not at all overpriced unlike a couple of rather well known hospitals in udon, waiting times are reasonable. In my case one of the teaching professors is in charge of my treatment, however he doesn’t necessarily do everything himself as there are specialists in treatment in the faculty such as x-Rays and they have all the cutting edge equipment available to them.

In my posts all fees and requirements are the standard R&R but TIT and a brown envelope can make incredible changes YMMV.

STWW, can you tell us the "out the door" average price of a single dental implant from start to finish from KK University so we can have a basis of comparison. I know that I am getting quotes in Udon at dental clinics from 35 to 45K which is an outrageous price.

Sorry I can’t help with that as so far I haven’t needed/been able to have an implant.

However when asking for costs for my recent umbilical hernia the quotes from the well known Udon places were virtually double the actual cost at Khon Kaen university hospital and the operation was performed by the consultant in charge of that section. So I suggest that you get a Thai speaker to call them.

I got dental implants in Udon a while back, and I had a pretty good experience overall. I went to a clinic that came highly recommended, and the staff were super friendly, which helped ease my nerves. They took the time to explain everything and answered all my questions. I’d suggest looking at reviews for a couple of places and maybe visiting them to get a feel for the vibe before deciding.

You are incorrect, you just don’t know the correct dental terminology

STWW, kindly circle the fee sheet where the provision of implant services are priced. TIA.
