Have spoken to Tony's wife this afternoon , having spoken to Tony only an hour before and about to visit him in AEK, with some apples he ordered.

Tony has sadly passed away in AEK, having been admitted over the weekend to ICU and then transferred to a medical ward today.

RIP Mate and thanks for 14 years of laughter in Udon

Very sad news. Tony has been a good and friendly customer and friend for years. Always involved in udons social activities like the football team and songkran etc. Big lost for Udon Expat community. You will be missed. RIP big guy .

never knew him myself, other than on here, but it is a shock even to me, because it is surprising how one can be drawn to a fellow member's words, tales, insight, and wisdom, and easily think that he will always be there ever other day..but alas no more, for he has become a shooting star...

RIP Matey..

Dear old Tony , what a sad day for those that shared your good sense of humour and reality , I remember when Ann and I first took over the Clock , you were one of the first to offer the hand of friendship and advise for a newbie to Udon , we never got to write our script that we always talked about but we did laugh about so much of Udons Goings on , The Wichester Club , The Udon international Curry Club ( cross dressing curry eaters ) The Normals ...we and they will miss you , Rest in Peace my friend.

Trevor

Tony was always one of those perennial characters on both channels that I identified with. I liked his no nonsense, grounded attitude when it came to discussing the ins and outs of living in Thailand. I'll miss him.

I heard about Tony's death yesterday, but I haven't a clue who he is. Could someone post a photo of him so we can put a face with his name? RIP Tony and condolences to the family.
