Re: Vale "Deano"
One of my Kiwi friends used to really hate Dean Jones so I got a lot of mileage talking Jones up over the years. If I'd known Jones was a Carlton supporter I might not have done that.

Re: Vale "Deano"
Deano was one of my all time favourite Aussie cricketers. It's a short list because I'm a Pom but, in my opinion, he was one of the true greats
Re: Vale "Deano"
My list is short too. Thommo and Warnie are two of my favourites. Warnie isn't a Carlton supporter. Boonie was also a legend.

Yes, he retired just about the time that the England captain (Atherton) was sprung for keeping dirt in his pocket for the purpose of ball tampering.tamada wrote: ↑September 25, 2020, 8:24 pmI take it this was in an era before sandpaper had been invented?pipoz4444 wrote: ↑September 25, 2020, 4:04 pmSimply "One of Australia's best and most naturally talented" sportsmen"Raoul Duke wrote: ↑September 25, 2020, 4:09 amSome great memories here of the cricket LEGEND
