Oh dear! ......... that certainly is very sad news, and thanks (sort of) for updating us grievous.
Wazza was certainly one of the original and great characters of Udon Map, and a fantastic contributor up until he became ill a few years back.
You will certainly be missed Warwick.

Terrible news indeed .. met Wazza in 2008 when i landed in Udon and never forget he said that i must be bonkers or very brave opening a retail shop business in the middle of a financial crisis. Always good for a few slurps and a laugh.
Sincere condolences to all his family and close friends from myself and Dao

Great character and also one of the first to assist when I arrived in Udon. He introduced me to Rob and the ANZAC day ceremonies.
Enjoy the beer with Glenn. Don't forget to throw some AC/DC with Bon at the lead, his all-time favourite.

Wazza of all people. Grevious that is bloody sad news mate, it has really come as a shock, cant believe it. I do hope that whatever came to his passing, he was not in too much pain.
As Barney said, Waz was one of the first to throw a few bucks into the into the tin for the piss, for all the attendees at our ANZAC ceremonies to enjoy. In his previous work, a lot of people would have been gratefull for his experience.
I think of a lot of people who I have come across in Udon and Waz was at the forefront of all those people.
Rest In Peace WAZ.

Re: RIP Wazza
Had many fun nights out with Warwick in and around Udon when we were both new to the area in the first few years of the century. I knew he was in Melbourne for boxing day this year but sadly didn't catch up. Sad news. RIP.

Joined up to come here and post about Warwick too. We'd been mates for a long time in Thailand and back in Oz, where he and his partner Bee visited several times. He was the only person I ever met who tended his Thai orchids while listening to ACDC
If anyone is friends with the original (?) Irish Clock owners (Ann and ?? - they live in Chiang Mai now I think) - could someone reach out and let them know? They were also good friends of W but I don't have their contact deets.
Udon will be very quiet for us now when we visit. RIP Wazza, thanks for the friendship.

Re: RIP Wazza
Oh wow, such bad news.
We lost touch over the years, but back on 2007 I think it was, he was the one that introduced me to cowboy and nana sights in bangers. We shared a very expensive bottle of Penfolds Grange together for his 50th in Udon. We swapped cars so he could take my ute to bangers to get some of his stuff. He helped out with supporting letter for my wife to visit Australia.
Always helped out at the pharamacy so we would get correct meds.
Generous, funny, loved his AC/DC and he was one of 3 Tasmanians that I knew here - Wazza, me and a chap called John (can't remember last name but was living in Vanuatu). Justin introduced me to those 2 fellow Tassie blokes.
Sad loss. RIP Wazza and thanks for all the help and funny times.

Terrible news. RIP Waza. Really nice guy. Think we first met up about 20 years ago at the forum monthly meetings and later regularly at Tongs. Usually plenty of banter about cricket.
