Re: Champions League
Hello guys ..im coming to udon on the 25th april and im gonna miss the semi finals of the champions league so can you tell me ..where i can go to watch both man utd games on the 29th april and the 5th may ??im staying at the charoen hotel so the nearest place to there would be nice
Re: Champions League
The Charoen Hotel - your room, I would imagine.
Games are on at 2 a.m. so there will not be many bars (legally none) open at that time. I imagine that the drinking dens that are still legally open will be of the music variety, so possibly would have tv on tuned to football, but I doubt it.
If you are hungry then there is a (good) Thai place if you turn left as you get out of the front gate of the Charoen - about 200 metres down that way. They always show ANY football that is on & open until about 4 in the morning - as it servers food, it also serves drink. Football there is from a Thai channel though....

Bob ,youre a diamond thanks
Re: Champions League
Genuine,
The problem over here is that the Champions League matches kick off at 1.45am (7.45pm British time).
The bars tend to close at 1am.However the games will be screened live on Thai TV.Last night United were on Channel 7 and Arsenal on Channel 3 so you should have no problem watching both games but probably on TV in your room and stock up on the Beer Changs from 7/11 beforehand.
Maybe one of the farang bars might have a lock in to 4am,when the game finishes,so one of the other posters might know.
PS:Great result for United last night but dont know why he brought Nani on.Porto gained the initiative after that but its the result that counts and should be two classics against Arsenal !
