Very unusual Tony. I do know of occasions where someone has rung the starter at Victory Park in an effort for her to speed up particularly slow groups.
Personally I have been in a 2-ball behind a Thai 7 ball and have had to eventually miss a hole after it was made blatantly clear we wouldn't be called through.

Can anyone give some information on the golf course in Sakon Nakhon such as course condition, length, club house and food and drink? I would appreciate any help. ;)

Sakon Nakon golf course is on the army base and is 9 holes, its in ok shape but would not say brilliant, however this is a great layout and if was in good shape would be a great course. Lots of water and friendly caddies, the club shack is what it is i think there are showers and drink can be bought

Well as mash predicted ...leftie Mickelson wins the Open with a fantastic final round ,, the best round of golf in his career ,,in his words .... felt for Lee Westwood as so close but so far ,, missed too many fairways and found too many bunkers in his round ....

Well done Phil ..a worthy winner .

For anyone who has donated money towards the Golf Societies charitable causes over the past few years, here is a link to where 30,000baht was spent.

http://www.udonthanigolf.com/about-our-charity

The present thinking is that a charity box will be available at each event for players to donate a few baht, instead of the annual charity event that has been held in the past.
