I brought something similar to this back from england they work well upto now ,but you must make sure your tyres are inflated correctly ,as sometimes they can rub on the innertube and actually cause a puncture http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Weldtite-Punc ... 1e7bb12f71 Still laughing about the guy injecting it through the tube with a syringe TIT,you usually unscrew the valve and squeeze it in, it should come with a tube on the side of the bottle the cap on the liquid bottle usually has a valve key built into it.

Suggest you forget the kevlar belts and sealants as they don't work from my experience. Instead order yourself a pair of Schwalbe tires from ebay or chain reaction cycles. Schwalbe tires are not cheap but they are built extremely well and will go a long way to preventing punctures. I'm currently touring Cambodia, and Vietnam and have accumulated about 2500kms with only 1 puncture. My cycling partner also riding Schwalbe tires has gone puncture free. Another good practice is to ride as close to the road lane as possible as most of the road crap accumulates closer to the grass. Hope this helps.

Thanks guys for the information. 2500 kms without a puncture is amazing in these parts. I think I'll try to order the Schwalbe tires.
Riding close to the lane here is a bit more than I'd care to do. So often drivers here have little concern for bike riders.

Much safer here than Alaska, that guy in his tricked out f350 always tries to see how close he can get to me.

Do any of the bike shops in Udon sell master/quick links for chains ie a link that can be undone so the chain can be completely removed, and properly cleaned?
When I bought my bike it had (and still has) a solid (ie unbroken) chain. I imagine there are also differences in chain sizes, and so the same for the master links.

Watched a show on TV the other night showing those solid polyurethane tyres for forklifts etc. Never go flat. Got me thinking about getting them for the young girls bike.
Looked on the net and a company called Greentyre in britain make them. Are they the same as the schwalbe tyre mentioned? I'm sure there are others who manufacture.

Master links are available at the bike shop close to Makro.
