It looks that way to me, but don`t know how & if it works.
Svein, just quickly looked at the 4 pm ko game today, Kasetsart v Look E-San. Coming through fine, picture + sound. THe pitch looks, well, par for the course!

Perhaps, as you discovered the link, you should post on Facebook. I'm sure if other Thai fans knew, it would have been mentioned.

Let's hope it covers other 'aways', although Chiang Mai on SMMTV, as you indicated
Yeah, I checked the live feed too, looks ok. Let`s hope it`s same tomorrow.
I found the link in the Giant Gangster group on FB.

Good luck to the Northeast Giants in their Regional Champions League games. They've got a tough task ahead of them.

"The club currently does not have a website but their Facebook fan page can be viewed here; UDFC Fanclub."

Info for you if it`s your page that you link to above: The club has an official Facebook page with almost 34000 "likes": https://www.facebook.com/Udonthani.FC

Latest from Sukhothai after about 60 minutes: Sukhothai 1-0 UDFC

Oh dear. What a large pie in the face for Udon. The video link wasn't too good, but in spite of the Club's efforts to prepare the players, it seemed they played poorly. Yet I was fairly confident going into the Champions League, but did Sukhothai have better ability, tactics or attitude? - I don't know. Let's hope it was just a bad day at the office. I recall losing away to Nong Khai in the League, which was a real 'downer', but we know what a great run they put together after that.

Sorry for the fans who travelled, including some market people here, who set off at 0600 hrs and perhaps only home nearly 24 hours later. I know the Thai seem intent on having a good time no matter the result, but for me the match is all-important and pleased I missed that one.

Incidentally, saw a little of the Chiang Mai game. Heavy rain, pitch waterlogged, playing the ball a lottery - but they still continued!

If you are registered as living in another country you won`t see the page, I remember now both me and others had same problem earlier. Don`t know why they use that function, possibly only a mistake when they registered the page. I will try to explain it to them in a PM, and maybe they`ll change it.

After doing nothing last week, UDFC now has one or more buses to Ang Thong this Sunday. Price 350 baht. Looks to me as they leave Udon at 5 in the morning, 12 and a half hour before kick-off (!?). Don`t know how long time it will take to get to Ang Thong, but since it`s only around 8 hours to Bangkok, the 5AM departure is crazy, in my eyes. :?

Funny the Club did nothing for Sukhothai and the proposed 0400 hrs start by minibus certainly put me off.
The departure time for Ang Thong also seems hours too early, even allowing for breakfast, lunch and comfort breaks. Mind you, I’ve seen three busloads of fans fed, watered and shopped in well under an hour. Perhaps the intention is to allow some leg-stretching before the game and it wouldn’t surprise me if the buses took the chance to stop at local attractions e.g. there’s a big Buddha down there.
It makes me recall years back and pre a full motorway layout back in England. For distance places like Carlisle and Plymouth, coaches would actually leave 2300 hrs on the Friday (and start the return journey 2300hrs on the Saturday night). I suppose this was preferable to setting off at say 0300 hrs and it allowed fans to look about the town both before and after the game. It’s a quicker journey these days, of course, and in any event, I think police restrictions aim to restrict away fans arriving too early.

I note Ang Thong v Udon is advertised as being covered by that link again.

It's got to be better performance/result than last week, hasn't it? - PLEASE! I don't know what history shows as the total points gained by Clubs winning promotion, but guess it must be mid-twenties. IF Udon slipped up again, they'd have to win all their remaining eight games to reach my guesstimate. 8-[ :-k

Last season the four promoted teams got 14, 16, 20 and 22 points. In 2011 they got 17, 19, 19 and 22 and in 2010 they got 18, 19, 22 and 23, so nothing will be decided in the next couple of weeks, but I think we need at least 3 points in the next 2 games.

Thanks for finding that info, Svein.

The promoted Clubs all had a few less points that I had expected. I think we could say in those three seasons that there was no Club that dominated completely. And some groups were tight enough, that the top teams managed to win only half their games. But my earlier comment has some backup in that, with just two exceptions out of the twelve, no promoted Club lost more than two games.

Ang Thong vs UDFC on True Visions channel 97 at 5.30PM today. I don`t have True, so I have to try the live feed on internet again... :(

So far in the play-offs the Northern region looks the strongest. Both Sukhothai and Chiang Mai won their first game last weekend in Udon`s group, and in the other group, Phitsanulok has won their first 2 games. Yesterday they won 1-0 at home to Roi Et.

The next game is at home to Nakhon Nayok, and it`s a MUST WIN-game!!

Sukhothai who has played 2 homegames is top, and UDFC who has played 2 awaygames is bottom. In a normal footballcountry UDFC would have played at home to Sukthothai in the first game, but if it would have changed anything is pure speculation. The other group also has this ridiculous fixturelist, with Nara having played 2 homegames (only 1 point) and Roi Et 2 awaygames (3 points).

Anyway, UDFC now has 5 homegames in the last 8, and if they can win most of those, and pick up a few points away from home too, they still have good chances to get into top 2. But as already said, they have to win this week!

Yesterday was the election for the FAT.

I hear rumors that FC Udon wants to protest this Saturday against this result.
Read the last lines in the link and you understand why.

The club itself will definetely not protest at any games as they will be punished hard. If fans are protesting against FA and/or Woravi with banners, the club will normally be fined 20000 baht, as other clubs has been.

It`s as hard to get rid of Woravi as it is to get rid of Thaksin. Woravi is also an executive in Pheu Thai (Thaksin`s party), and he is backed by Thaksin. The other candidate in the election was backed by Newin (now Buriram United, but previous politician who has been both friend and enemy of Thaksin). Football in Thailand is run by politicians, and politicians should therefor be banned from football!

It seems to me that many want rid of Worawi. Several articles on the Thai League Football website are a good indication, by people who know a lot about Thai football.
But this is Thailand where corruption, influence and 'if you know what's good for you' usually rule.
I hope Udon FC is and remains 'clean'.
