Any know or use the gym at the Army Hospital?

It's at the back beside the Physiotherapy department but when I used to go there about four years ago for Physio, I recall it was small with very little equipment. That may have changed so it could be worth a 'butchers'.

Plenty of "Gym" in the Cattle Shed...Plenty of "Ham"disguised as "Gym" too........

If so could you kindly provide details...prices/hours/equipment etc....

Looking for a gym with excellently maintained exercycles. Not much use to me if the exercycles need maintenance. Looking also for cheap daily rate. Also looking for the same in Vientianne if somebody knows the lay of the land there. Prefer the upright exercycles but any type will do. Found the brand LIFE FITNESS works best for me.

I've been taking part in lifting and cardio at various gyms here in Udon since 2006. Between costs, poor maintenance, not enough equipment, changing hours and dealing with traffic, I decided to create my own home gym in March. I work out at home now. Very convenient.

The kind of cycles you're looking for are at the fitness center between the Night Market and BKK Hospital (Your Fitness). Their daily rate is 200 baht. 1,000 baht per month. Lots of equipment and maintained well, but the falang ownership had some issues and things started heading south at the start of 2017. I haven't been in there since March 2017, so I don't know what you'll find.

Newish one opened Jan/Feb 2017 where the golf shop was on Wattanung Rd on right just past lights going BKK Hospital to Nongprajak Park
Looks like lots of gear but might be difficult to park
