Do you know which channel is showing it Rhino?

If it's on one of the CTH channels, I suggest you ask at the new refurbished and double the size Sportsbar which now has 4 large screen TV's available and is open by 15:00.

Women's hockey has been showing since day one, and the preliminary round will finish tomorrow. Note that I watch in Canada and they show every event live.

I doubt that Rhino will have time to hop on a plane to Canada to watch the odd game LYM

"Women's hockey has been showing since day one, and the preliminary round will finish tomorrow"

Hmm with the current rules whereby a team will get through the preliminary round having LOST ALL of their matches, I hardly think that the Womens Hockey competition is worth the effort of turning the TV on let alone spending money producing medals for it :-$

Just a thought, but it may be worth checking with the "White Box" in Nutty Park ..... they used to have a direct feed of Norwegian TV, but not sure if they still do :-k

I watched Sweden vs. Germany and it was not too bad. The Canadian and U.S. women play...right now, and should be okay.

But, I prefer to watch the Sweden-Czech men's match later today.

Most of these events you can watch live, or later, on cbc.ca

http://www.richardbarrow.com/2014/02/ho ... -thailand/ in there is helpful tips.
Thailand is not in the broadcasters list at all. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_20 ... oadcasters

I haven't found any tv channel in Thailand that would broadcast Olympics, so stream is best possibility.

This site has been quite good before. I don't know if these kind post are allowed, so if it's not ok moderators take the link away. http://www.wiziwig.tv/competition.php?p ... e=olympics

The Sweden-Switzerland game is on cbc.ca now. After about 11 minutes the Swedes are outplaying the Swiss, but the score is knotted at 0-0. Two of Sweden's best players are out owing to injury.

The Czechs beat Latvia 4-2 earlier in the day.

Canada and Austria will play later.

Anyone know if the Ruskie coach Zinetula Bilyaletdinov is related to ex Everton FC player Diniyar Bilyaletdinov?

Never seen the name before so can't be that common even in Russia

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm. He has had a long career, and I remember him with the Saskatoon Blades of the Western Hockey League. I am not much of a hockey fan other than when the Olympics and World Championships are held.

I have not much acquaintance with the British Hockey League, but, I remember there is a team in Newcastle but I do not know their nickname so I will go with the Newcastle Magpies (???).

I am watching Canada and Russia in woman's curling on cbc.ca right now. Earlier, I saw the shootout victory by the U.S. men's hockey team over Russia on the same channel.

Slovenia won their first ever Olympic hockey game today by beating Slovakia, 3-1.

The Swedish women's team beat the Finnish ladies 4-2 earlier in a bit of a rough game.

There is no way I would ever have got that one right.

My ancestors came from Alnwick, and before that Normandy, 1066 and all that.

Sweden just surrendered a goal but are up 4-3 early in the third.
