F1 when in the u.k ?

does anybody know which t.v chanel F1 is on in the u.k if you DONT have sky sports ?
as i,m tring to find out what chanel on the internet free t.v i can watch the singapore
F1 qualifying today . thanks

Singapore Grand Prix

Thursday 18 September
Preview, 21:00 - 22:00, BBC Radio 5 live

Friday 19 September
First practice, 10:55 - 12:35, BBC Radio 5 live sports extra & live text commentary online
Second practice, 14:25 - 16:05, BBC Radio 5 live sports extra & live text commentary online

Saturday 20 September
Third practice, 10:55 - 12:05, on selected Connected TVs & live text commentary online
Qualifying, 13:55 - 15:05, on selected Connected TVs & live text commentary online
Qualifying highlights, 17:10 - 18:25, BBC One

Sunday 21 September
Race, 12:55 - 15:00, BBC Radio 5 live & on selected Connected TVs & live text commentary online
Highlights, 17:00 - 18:35 BBC One

Red Button, Connected TV and online

For all races live on TV, all qualifying and race on-track sessions will be streamed live on the BBC Red Button with the interactive forum on Red Button and the BBC Sport website for an hour after each live BBC race.
There will be live streams on Connected TV of all of the live BBC TV races with alternative options including driver tracker, pit lane and on-board camera. Online will also offer viewers additional video streams, plus extensive video highlights, interviews, race reports, features and analysis from every race of the season.

So I think that means that it is not on live unless you are in the UK & have the 'red button' showing on the BBC channel.

Neither does it appear to be on 365Sport.

This might be worth looking at, but I have no personal experience of them..

thanks for the info bob , i just thought 1 of the big stations in the u.k would show it either
BBC 1 / 2 or ITV , live , i did see that the highlights are on BBC 1 late in the night

Its live on 365sport.com from 1730 onwards (Channel 6)

That is the race, tomorrow, Socksy, Timmy is after the practice/qualifying, today.

BBC IPlayer is showing qualifying and the race at 17.00 UK time.

Wiziwig and VIP Box are also broadcasting qualifying and the race.

thanks for the F1 link to watch the singapore qualifiying but lost the lot after 15 mins , think due the the masive storm
we had up here did,nt come back on untill after qualifiying had finnished , hoping for better luck with todays race ...

hamilton won the singapore F1 G.P , good race , but after messing about for ages on my computer tring diffrent links here and there loosing both my home pages that i,ve always used and now cant refind or reset because i,m cr4p with computers , the whole live race was on HOME CABLE , CTH , fox sports HD , chan 48 . it just shows you should look for the easiest was of doing things first .......

You can find sometimes on Home Cable but sometimes in 'kitchen sink' Language. You have to troll through the Channels and get lucky then go to the Pharmacy for something for your thumb blister.
