I would disagree about the love part udonuk1. Ive been in thailand many many times and Ive been scammed by some Thai girls(Who Hasnt!) but as far as the current tgf goes she knows Im not a rich man even for Thai standards. I do treat her well and with respect. Ive been to see her family many times and they have never asked me for anything, well maybe because they know already what they will get told! Maybe this is the exception to the rule. Im 39 and she is 29 so not that much difference in age.

If I were 65 and if the tw was 25 i can see your point. She would certainly not with me for my good looks,body and charm! It took me a long time to find someone like this, 6 years, but there are good ones out there and if the vast majority of farangs would take the time to look in other places than beer bars and gogo joints and find someone closer to their own age then i would think they have a much better chance of finding a thai girl that actually loves them.

I did think your way for a long time bt I continued on my search and maybe, just maybe Ive found the one, time will tell!

I am pleased (honestly) that you have met good Thai lady, Dermot, they're hidden diamonds amongst the megatonnes of greedy cheating Thai ladies i am sure. Men must find out the hard way about the real motives of women , it is a great lesson in life from the Water Buffalo University. But , i really mean the men who are angry at your question, they're the ones who are going to get the big lesson about Thai ladies one day. (I must say that i was one, but i have graduated from WB Uni now).

I was introduced by my ex girlfriend believe it or not becasue she knew what I would accept and what i wouldnt. MY gf likes to work(Proper JOB) and also goes to UNI, to have somewhere to go everyday and make money. She doesnt depend on me for financial support etc etc etc. At times she can be a bit Immature and she drives me crazy in particular her attitude to Love...... She believes love should be a fairytail with the handsome prince sweeping the lovely princess off her feet and that things should be perfect ALL THE TIME!

I think its from listening to those thai songs and watching thai soap operas, lol. Its difficult you know, Shes in Udon and Im at home in Dublin. Its easy to get in a fight over the phone or internet Ive noticed particularly when ive had a hard day at work. If ive had a hard day I wont let her go on some things but if I havnt I usually let them slide.

Cultural differences are an issue too with her believing Thai culture is always correct and that i should accept it rather than her accepting mine. Things are not all bad of coure, i do love her madly.

Ive lived in other countries such as the States and just becasue we spoke the same language doesnt mean there were cultural differences there also!

FWIW, I spent many years visiting Pattaya and I had more than a few 'relationships', with the requisite loss of money, an in all honesty failed relationships because of distance and an inability to understand farangs don't have money trees. Immature? mostly yes.
Now I have one who is almost too sensible, what a shock, but where I thought these lady's were immature, maybe they were just not in touch with reality-Thailand is like that even for us.

I agree MD,but my question for you wouild be ;when you are 65 or older what age gal would you be looking for,that would ''fall in love with you''? I'm 71,can't imagine my dick standing up for some gal closer to my age,it has a hard enough time with the younger girls

Most farangs though, think that Thai ladies REALLY love them, but the Thai ladies are ONLY in love with his money, the farangs act honestly. The only real difference between MOST regular Thai ladies and bargirls is only the length of the relationship. They are basically the same.
But these Thai ladies, devious or not, are not immature, they know which side of the bread is buttered. But i can imagine there are a FEW genuine ones, but not so many.

Very good question Udonuk1! And i dont want to get caught out by saying something like 'Shes different from the rest' How many of us have said that an how many have been proven wrong? most of us i would imagine!

I dont trust many people Udonuk1 but she has proven on many occasions thus far that she can be trusted and until she proves otherwise Ill have to give her the benefit of the doubt.

NKstan, I understand your point and its difficult for me to comment as Im not in my 60's or 70's so i dont know what will do it for me when Im older! To be honest with you, personally at the moment I wouldnt want a girl 30 or 40 years my junior if I were your age becasue id know exactly (even in the back of my head) why she was wth me and im afraid that I couldnt deal with.

I tried a half of a viagra once and the effect lasted 3 days, not for me but maybe an option for some older guys out there!

I don’t think that they are that immature, I know of one “Lady” that has two Farangs in tow and she gets money and other goodies from them and brings them to the GFs restaurant when they are in town and another “Lady” that’s married to a Farang and brings her Thai BF to the restaurant as well. OT found his wife dancing around a pole in pattaya about 12 years ago. She's always been a bit of a handful but she has got her qualities and suited me. There is a ten year age gap between us and she has a mental age of nine and a half, so all in all, all's well and I'm not complaining. Our kids are great and our lifestyle is great one minute and a disaster the next. She's not perfect but I would put her at the top of my WFB list.
