Cassava/Rubber Farmer Wins Big

Post by parrot » February 17, 2016, 7:09 pm

A cassava/rubber farmer from Udon province recently made a down payment on a motorcycle and was left with 800 Baht. He did what most any Thai would do under the circumstances......he plucked 240 Baht down on the lottery, using the chassis number of the motorcycle to zero in on his tickets. And on 16 Feb win big he did.....to the tune of 18 million Baht. And it's almost a given, that anyone who buys a motor vehicle in the next two weeks will do the same......use the vehicle number to pick their lottery tickets. Or should they pick their license plate number......or their new telephone number.........or the birth date of their new grandchild......or that mysterious number that appeared on a banana leaf in grandma's backyard. Surely, one of those numbers will be correct.
