And who would be interested in visiting this office and why? (I doubt this is where one would go to find out where to rent motorbikes, for example, or is it?)

I would guess tourists for tourist information. ;)

Over the next few weeks I will be posting more information about government offices, schools, colleges etc. We receive several inquiries every week asking information about places in Udon, sometimes it feels like we're the tourist info center. :shock: Therefore I thought it would be easier to post the information on the forum. :D

They do have there uses. A year and a half ago, when the yellow shirts stopped me leaving, I came back to Udon, heard that TAT would pay for my hotel, and went there. Hobsons choice (well 2) that they would pay for. Reluctantly, i accepted a room at Centara :D meals included. Unfortunately, those yellow shirt b***ers then lifted there blockade and i only got 3 days there!
