Bars in Udon

lets look at it another way, how many bars in udon with more than 5 customers a night, not counting staff and freelance girls. i guess the numbers are small even at weekends. or how many make a profit over the coarse of a year, even smaller is my guess.

Yeah, a mugs game if you ask me !! Now how many Falang eateries do we have in Udon, just to get a proper perspective of the original post

Iceman, where did you get your information about California Cafe??

I just had lunch there 2 days ago, with the owner, Sal, and nothing was mentioned about closing.

Paka.... California Cafe is H_I_S_T_O_R_Y........Finished (for now) as of yesterday.

2 bars across from The Clock, behind "The Meeting Point" that are currently open are "Wonder Girl" and "Amor" bar.

I think Amor might be a gay bar because I see several Thai guys with lots of Tats hanging out there. Not sure, maybe just boyfriends of the girls in the area.

Maybe some of you fans of Mr. Tong's can confirm the gay aspect of "Amor bar"?

We are spoilt for choice in Udon, that's for sure compared with other Issan towns.
We have not even counted in all the Thai owned bars, sing song bars, beer halls, and places where you can swing your pants. All we need is a beach.
