PLEASE !! You folks with the multi-megapixel resolution cameras, adjust your settings so that it won't take so dang long to download a picture!! Your camera probably came with the maximum resolution set as default but you can change it to make your pictures much more amenable to being displayed on email or to the forum. In fact, my camera has one setting under the resolution adjustments that just says, "email". The ones above, displayed by trubrit are excellent - quick to download and if you want to see it larger, just click on it, simple. Those of us with less than 2 megabite download speed would really appreciate it.
Thanks,
Thanks,

Lee,
Now I'm a bit confused (so, what's new)... the photos steve3 posted came up quite nicely but I had to leave the site and check my mail then come back again before beer monkey's photo came up. Now they are all available and all the same size, physically, but trubrits pics are still small but able to click and increase size.?
If it's not too long and drawn-out, maybe you could give us a quick lesson on how trubrit does it so the rest could follow.? I have the same problem with the pictures from aznyron on the NM link.

Personally I like seeing the photo full size on the forum. However if you prefer to show the small image it's simply a case of selecting the correct code to display small image thumbnails.

There's an excellent freeware photo application called Irfanview that I find very useful for resizing photos that I intend to e-mail to friends with less than high speed connections. It is easy to use, fast and the finished product looks great.
Re:
Did you buy your Photoshop package in LOS, Lee? I'm just wondering whether it's worth me buying one when I'm Thai side to save some money, instead of buying one in the UK...lee wrote:Your orchid photo is over 700k but the fish photo is 200k so getting better. I reduce mine in photoshop. The photos posted in the first post are approx 90k each but still look pretty sharp.
