lol - well mine just went full circle. Starting a couple of days ago mainly silent treatment. This morning back to normal. I just waited things out. She suffers anyway not me. She goes to bed steamed and me with a smile on my face.
I think you better know your spouse pretty well if you try to "force" them to communicate. Trying to force someone to alter their personality can be dangerous and might explode in your face.
Anyway my method works for me and that's what's important. Each guy has to find what works in his relationship.
Let the makeup begin!

I dont know about you guys sometimes that silence is golden
Ah yes a place to myself, no one chattering away in a langugae I don't have clue about. Just make sure you really don't need to do anything during this period and enjoy it. I've been goofing around on here. But the truth is I don't talk to her when she pulls one of these numbers. Drives her nuts. It's thier game just play it with them and you will definetly have less of it.

My wife is much the same as the others mentioned on this thread. Thankfully, the silent moods are rare. Sometimes they last only a few hours and are infrequent.
When I think about it, I remember much the same situation with my first wife back in farangland. Not speaking to each other could go on more than a day back then. Since I am considerably older and much more experienced in a marriage, I have little difficulty just letting things stay silent until the TW decides to break the spell. I'd been through this drill hundreds of times before I ever met her. In a way, it sort of gives me the edge.
I believe the silent treatment is basically an instinctive reaction to an unpleasant situation and is often the easiest method of displaying their displeasure. Even I am capable of this behavior when I find it difficult to express my own discontent. Often, I have become so exasperated with a situation, I could do nothing but shut up and sulk! I believe this behaviour is pretty universal and rarely leads to dire consequences.

I still would like to know if Thai men experiance this problem. I assume they do.
Or is just with us farang husband/BF's they go silent on us becuase they have trouble with english and explaining whats wrong.
My english wife/GF's over the past 20 years never went quite. The first wife shouted and slamed doors. Others talked about the problem for days. (I wish they did go quite.)
But I see it in the thai TV the TW watches. They go quite, punch and kick. They must learn it from there and of course there peers.
I am a person who likes to talk about problems, this silent treatment piss me off no end, but I quess thats why she does it. Still I am getting uses to it. She has just finished her 2 days of Silence so we should be good for another 2-3 weeks.

Guys it's the not knowing what they are thinking that is driving you nuts. Of course Thai guys get it to. Ex bar Girls good theory, but I think it goes beyond that.
Now think about it aren't there times when you have something on your mind or don't feel good that your quieter then usual.?
Why does it bother us, goes back to our mothers they have put a curse on us. We actually believe that it's our job to keep them happy. If they are not happy we are failing in some way.
Now hows that for a B.S. theory Might be a little truth in though

I can deal with the silences, it's the threat of castration with a blunt bayonet that makes me wary.beer monkey wrote:I am just getting a minor one today...something about a Dream she had last night about me going off with another girl. lol, should be back to normal later, as this is not a full scale code red class 1 episode.
Let's hope Mrs. BM can distinguish between dream and reality. BM, you might want to sleep in the spare bedroom tonight just to be on the safe side (and lock the door).

I can concur what Wazza said about foreign objects, St Mary's Hospital in Portsmouth, has a "unofficial" museum of objects removed from female genitalia, (and male rectums). some of the items, would amaze you!!!!!wazza wrote:Yes, saw it in a hospital in Hobart, Tasmania years go.
Dont ask for the other naughty stories !! coz all those foreign object stories are all true.
