I think you can do that Zidane, but you might lose a few quid in the transfers, plus it is using up 2 free transfers.

Wanted to play Cech but he was out. Wanted to play Zaki, but after looking on the web to see if he was fit decided it was too risky to select him and played Arteta instead. What happens, Zaki plays and scores 2 goals. How Bob knew he was playing i don't know.

I'd signed Carew the previous week and made him captain on the strength of previous weeks performances. Watched the Villa game last night. What a donkey. Was so disapointed in him, signed him out today, along with Barry of A Villa. O'Neill now playing him as a full back so no point keeping him as a mid fielder. Loss of 4 points will be worth it I hope.
Only hope today is SWP scoring a hat-trick. :(
Yes did the same with Zaki....i am dissapointed especially when a mate said wigan have scored again i knew in my heart it was Zaki again.... :( :(
looked everywhere and his name was not on any team line ups, then he plays and bags plenty of points, Carew has been going down the toilet for a few weeks now, maybe time to go, 1 more game today hopefully bag a few points.

Luckily i had a good replacemant keeper whilst cech puts his feet up.

And a lot of games coming up 2 lots in 1 week because of the internationals.

Cheers for that Bob.
I'll have to do something as my strikers plus Cech and Diarra are out.I dont want to use my wildcard yet as its quite early in the season.
Down 3 places in the table and Ron (Polehawk) closing in fast ! :yikes:
Just when I thought our chance had passed, you go and save the best for last.

BM, do the weekday games actually count as a "week", or are they ignored????

Sorry to jump in, but extract from rules says

"What happens when a team is playing twice in one Gameweek?
Any players you have from the team playing twice, will earn two sets of points, assuming that the player plays in both fixtures. Any team captains playing in both fixtures will also earn double points for each game."

Perhaps I should add that any changes you make to players, in anticipation of midweek games, won't take effect until the next deadline, usually a Saturday, but not always. A Tuesday one coming up, if I recall.
As if I know what I'm doing. I'm the one with relegation hanging over ,me!

was thinking about that,so what you are saying is you cannot do any subs either..? but will have to wait and see what the next deadline is after Sundays games, was hoping to do a couple of transfers without losing points too.

Gotta get rid of Woodgate this week me thinks but will wait and see until after the Champions League games in case of injuries.
