'I've never wanted to leave. I'm here for the rest of my life, and hopefully after that as well.'
Alan Shearer

What's wrong with this quote?

He has arranged for his ashes to be scattered in the goalmouth

Well, a few more weeks like the past 2 and I'm heading for mid table mediocre. Guess I should thank my blessings that only 2 of the threatened 5 omissions occurred. What pees me off is that i get no luck with my subs. Because non of my forwards play they by-pass my second choice sub, who scored 6 points and played my 3rd sub who was the spare forward.
Don't know why I'm bothering, going to be off-line for most of December anyway. :( :( :(

care to expand?

I looked at the team I had, and with 5 players injured I bit the bullet and used my wildcard.
What happens? The ten I would have used, score more points than the eleven that I up?graded to

Having kept faith with Woodgate since the start of the season, he waits till now to score 8 points

Having now got a fit squad, I relegate Kompany to the bench (Arsenal are bound to score at least one .....arn't they?) and he gets 6 points

I introduce Gardner for his first game, and his manager puts him onto the field with 2 mins remaining, not enough time to score more than one point, but enough to stop an automatic substitution being played

I'm gonna have to get some good karma from somewhere ...... and soon ](*,) ](*,) ](*,)

As reported earlier, back to a zero analysis dumb luck approach.

Worked pretty well - well FAR better than the weeks of analysis anyway - apart from fact that the captain did not play :( :( everyone else pulled their weight. Stuck in mid-table, a position I will be highly delighted to hold in May :D :D

3 weeks in UK. With little or no internet access.
2 weddings to attend. My niece and my sons. And, oh yes, taking my new wife back to meet my folks. :D
PAD permitting.

Things are really getting bad in the UK then ....... they used to have quite good access whist I lived there ..... TOT havn't purchased BT have they?

sounds like the title for a film, 2 weddings and your own funeral when she finds out that you can't buy Somtam on every street corner :fryingpan:

PAD permitting.
I'm sure that you can sweet talk them into letting your flight take off ....... just tell the guy in charge that Statts said it was ok  :drunk:
Have a good trip

Fernando Torres out for up to 3 weeks with a re-occurence of his hamstring injury.Thats the third time he's been sidelined this season with the same injury.
Yes,a bit of a shortage of strikers all round.Neither Robinho or Defoe played in last nights UEFA Cup games.Zaki has a virus and if Berbatov is fit hes more than likely to be on the bench for most of the game.
Stephen Irelands form likely to dip now as I've just signed him up 8-[

Great news .......not

I've only just put Torres into the team .......... been waiting until he regained fitness from the last lay off.

Now I've got Mr "I've got Mumps/a groin strain/a sore ankle/a broken finger nail Owen up front to partner (the unusually fit for 5 minutes) Saha.

And to top that, you tell me you have just put the mockers on my best points scorer by adding him to your squad :yikes:

Can it get any worse? ](*,) ](*,) ](*,)
