At least Robinho seems to bring his "A" game against the "Big boys" .........
Unlike Anelka and Defoe who both seem to do a "Thierry Henry" and go missing :D

Yes i will settle for that too Ralph....but i think i should of captained Robinho though, still sure Anelka will be putting a few in the Net, so its swings and round-a-bouts..

That would also suit me, I have Robinho as captain, and anelka, along with crouch, looking forward to a good score this week, though I doubt 73 like last week~!

Robinho? He plays for Sherwood Forest in Nottinghamshire, right? :?

I'm looking for Man Utd to have a huge game tomorrow with Cap'n Ronaldo getting at least 2 goals. =D> =D> =D>

Well, I got the 2 part right anyway. He was my captain. Wonder if it means I will get double negative points?

Maybe I can get Rooney back for Cristiano.

Well Ireland only gave me 1 point.. and Robinho was no where to be seen... :(
Up next Chelsea...Lampard,Anelka, and the dependable Bosingwa.

Nobody exactly tearing the league up this week, so far. Gary has 31 points and I'm next with 27, even with Cap'n Bonehead. Well, maybe Lampard or Anelka can get me some points. Go Chelsea! [-o<

Could not have happened to a more deserving dummy-spitter.

On a happier note, Van Persie got 2 goals. I knew he would come good.

Next week Lampard and Anelka to shine.

Brought in S. Ireland and he gets 1 lousy point... Replaced Barry with Wright-Philips a few weeks back and he seems to average 2 points per game... ](*,)

All I need is for Goflya Kuyt to get a mere 5 goals tonight to overtake Ralph and rocket up into 7th spot. [-o< [-o< [-o<

I'll go along with that Kuyt is my captain this week 5 x 5pts + 1 X 2pts + 3 bonus +1 pt for clean sheet = 31pts ........ doubled ....... thats 62 pts for Kuyt. [-o<

Nah, still not enough to get me out of the relegation zone :guiness:

Don't worry, after my selections made such a dismal show , ( I was expecting so much this week), you have no problems of climbing the table!

My only satisfaction was that the Oscar winner Ronaldo rightfully was red carded =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D>

Still, there is still Liverpool to come (3am to-morrow :yikes: :yikes: :yikes: )

I see som nam na has Pele in his squad.
I've heard of clutching at straws but i think even Pele would have trouble getting his team off the bottom of the table after his bad start. :D

Banking on Kuyt and Charragher tonite......but going on all the other BIG names this week i won't hold my breath......Monday night game at Upton Park... :-k

How different it is when your main men fail to perform.

Good move on Cahill , Galee, been watching him for a while but i went with Pantsil the other week...who i have not played yet.

Thank you BM. made up for recent aberrations. i.e. Fletcher, Carew and Martins.
Today signed up 2 players I've been watching recently, trouble is the double transfers over the past month have cost me 12 points plus a bit of money.

Anyone "REALLY" understand how the bonus points work?

Yes I know what it says in the rules, but I am amazed at some of the choices.

Having watched the Spurs Everton game, and almost got bored with the amount of times the two commentators used phrases like rock solid Jagielka, that man Jagielka was there again, the phonomenal Jagielka etc; etc; and today I looked at Eurosports team of the week where they take the points awarded in FIVE national papers to work out the best players over all the games, and they had Jagielka top with 44 pts out of 50 .............

How come the guys in this competition didn't even give him one bonus point.

How can he be the best player in nine games, and yet according to these guys he was only fourth best player on show in the spurs/everton game? ](*,)

Must admit it's a bit of a mystery to me also. I agreed with the commentators on the City-Utd match that Wright-Phillips had an excellent game, but notice he didn't get any bonus points?
