The Loved Ones - iconic Oz group from the mid 60s. Lead singer was Gerry Humphries, younger brother of Dame Edna Everage, and Sir Les Patterson (aka Barry).
I remember watching this one on Countdown, back in Oz. Really, the only way they could have made it better would be if the organist and the woman singer had swapped outfits.
A one hit 'wonder'...? It's a wonder really with the girl 'singer' screeching out her lines, he got nice set of hampsteads and lovely golden hair though.

They remind me of the Troggs. Sad Dark Eyes is the best track from those three, Jack.

Give him some stick, Jack.
Don't worry westers - he has already given himself some stick. Look back a few pages and you will see he has nominated something called "Kajagoogoo" :-" :-"
Kajagoogoo? That's unforgivable, it's not even funny. Kajagoogoo were mincing about on Top of the Pops when I was a spotty teenager and the only people that listened to them were little girls. Can we have some Moderator action to remove Kajagoogoo from this Forum (where's Arjay when you need him)?
Arrrr Go on Westers you like the song really...you can't tell me you don't sing along whilst at the wheel of the Daewoo Matiz when it comes on the Radio set.
Ah was just about to listen to Thin Lizzy (RIP Phil) but video not available in my country... I'm getting that a lot lately. Had to settle for The Dubliners with my neighbour on guitar... I wonder is he still out paying in his back garden till 3am.
