Brazilian model dies at 20

I'm sure many of us are feeling hacked off with the current sterling exchange rate but heres a sad story that puts life into perspective.
20 year old Brazilian model Mariana Brindi died after contracting an infection that attacked her whole body and proved drug resistant.Doctors amputated her hands and feet in a desperate attempt to stop the infection spreading but sadly she died.
I'm sure you will all agree she was very beautiful and what a tragedy for someone so young with everything to live for.

It was in the Bangkok Post on Thursday that when she was first admitted she was misdiagnosed with kidney stones but then had the amputations. I didn't know she had since died. Tragic indeed and yes such a beautiful young lady.
