"'you're as old as you feel'"

"Your only as old as the girl your feeling" is a bit more accurate here in LOS,

If Stickman wants to promote that image then that's fine by me. Hopefully it will deter the more undesirable element from visiting Udon.

I use to live in one of Gods waiting rooms in the UK. Personally I liked it. Less crime. You don't get mugged by an 80 year old OAP. :D

In London, if you look at the faces on the tube (underground trains) you'll see all ages have 'sunken desolate' looks. ;) :lol:

I think Udon still has the edge on Eastbourne too! :D And think of the council tax you're saving! :D

I'm very proud of my long grey mane... And I know I look good. I used to walk around Pattaya and get loads of cries of, "Hello hansum maan!" Now come on 3,725 bar girls can't be wrong!

So my daft routine, when facing the usual Thai questions, of replying I've a 58 year old body, a 21 year old heart and the brain of a 5 year old IS true.

She's only 22. Yippee! :D :D :D

Must admit have not seen any evidence of that in udon, though I have in bk maybe he's old and confused or it could be a wind up.

WOW that touched a few nerves, give old stick a break ,its hard trying to fill a few pages every week,we all make comments we regret when we think about them, and its only his opinion after all ,mind you i dont know about the sunken faces i see more of the ruddy chang look in udon almost like being in cornwall. perhaps the guys he saw had just had a sevice by their younger better halves ,

Seems like a lot of people have decided that you could "go under" in a lot of places worse than Udon. People often read articles about different subjects or places they know and wonder if the author actually visited or only took the easy way and filed the story "remotely". It takes more than a pass thru to catch the color of a place. I would personaly be pleased as punch if the stories describing Udon erred on the side of boring, ugly, terrible place to live, etc.

well when I first got here I disliked the place did not find any restaurants to my liking
and did not know my way around now I am here two & half years made many friends
and found restaurants to my liking. I am eating some thai food now LOL
would I recommend Udon to live my answer would be YES would I say Udon
is a good party town I would say NO if some one ask me is Udon a good place to open a business I would look at him like he is CRAZY and tell him there is no such place in all Thailand
I hope I did not get off topic since I think it related to Udon Thani

The irony being this description "aged 50 up and having a sunken, almost desolate look" probably
most closely fits the stickman himself choking on all that bangkok air. aaahhh he's just jealous. =;
