man utd 1 liverpool 4 :D
but believe it or not im dissapointed with this score as i had 50/1 to pool win 3-1 at the bookies before dossena, whose done f*ck all all season scored in injury time.
747 man and statto,in particular,i await your comments....also bob,vlad and zidane.

I very much regret putting Van Der Sar in Goal....i very much regret using Vidic who has been VERY unreliable for a while....the pair of them buffoons cost me 3 points as they got -3 ..!!!! Vidic will be banished to a dirty Soi Klong .... seems a good move on swapping Van Persil for Torres too....van persil sitting on the bench picking his nose, so worked out fine with Gerrard scoring too.....would of liked to have seen Gerrard score another though....lets face it 4 goals..he must of had the chance.

Now that is bad luck with the bet at 50-1....only for dossena to pop one in on the 90 min.,..how much did you have on the bet..??

and Everton 2 up already Lescott scoring 1....Mmmm defender scoring thats 6 points i believe...and captain cahill on an assist.

Man United Joke...HOT Off The press....

I hear the RSPCA have setup a helpline for all Man Utd fans when taking their dog for walks, they can call 0111 213141 if their having trouble holding on to the lead!...

and another....

I think congratulations are in order for the staff at Old Trafford today for the way they evacuated all the home fans so quickly and efficiently during that fire drill after 88 minutes....

I was taken aback by Sir Alex Ferguson's post match comments;....

"It was never a penalty, he was always looking for it and it was a blatant dive!"

I'm assuming he found Gerrard's penalty debatable too.

I have more respect for Phelan... He didn't debate any decision and simply said it was a bad day at the office. It was a cast iron penalty.

I’m just a born pessimist Sean… I think that’s why so many people used to borrow money from me… they knew I wouldn’t expect it back. Anyway looks like my prayers worked… I still have a bit of faith.

Oh dear mister 747… Looks like somebody has to eat their words. I think you two are the ones in need of the reality check. An Everton fan harping on about a team that has destroyed Real Madrid inflicting on them their heaviest Champion’s League loss then it goes to Old Trafford and wins 1-4… When Everton emulate this feat maybe Sean and me will entertain any more of your drivel.

As for the game well apart from the brilliance of Torres and Gerrard, 2 more players answered my prayers (sorry Sean)… I always go on about needing goals from all areas and step forward Auerlio to hit a really sweet free kick then at the death Dossena’s finish was stunning.

So much is made of a big squad but this week a relatively small Liverpool squad have produced quality of the highest order.

Hard to tell whether this thread is Fantasy football or EPL 08-09!

Disappointing results for me ,but a well desreved win for Liverpool!

I was disappointed by my perception that some of Man Utd. players seemed to give up during the match, especially after Vidics sending off!

The lack of ''normal'' Man Utd. quality in the passing game was also a surprise! :(

Hmmm.....the Chang Beers seem to have given me a headache this morning for some reason
Watched United give an "A" class performance last night.....A is for appalling ! :(
Defence was shocking.....O'Shea and Evra poor and Vidic had an absolute stinker.
Midfield was non-existent.....overrun.This is where a holding player like Hargreaves is missed.Carrick is a luxury player who disappears when the going gets tough.
Ronaldo.....again,just on the periphary of things....not getting involved much.
Last night it was obvious if you run at Uniteds midfield or defence they have problems. This could well cost them in the Champions League.
But maybe this will give United the kick up the backside they need. They have been getting results without playing well for most of the season. So now they know they will have to knuckle down for the rest of the campaign if they are to attain success.I'm sure one way or another Sir Alex will ensure this happens.
Well done Liverpool. You deserved the win.Again, what a shame Torres isnt at Old Trafford.

But maybe the curse of the Charoen restaurant has struck again. After watching United lose four times their last year I vowed never to watch them there again.
Last night I did watch the game somewhere else but we did pop into the Charoen outdoor restaurant at 5.30pm,before the match,as the missus and her dad like the food there.
So,now, maybe I can go nowhere near the Charoen when United are playing :yikes:

i had a tenner on it.i would have been 500 quid up.we paid 6m for dossena.hes never looked like a footballer till the 90th minute of yesterdays game.i could have done with that money saving up for a holiday in thailand later in the year hopefuly.and after watching the match i had to go and do a nightshift so mixed feelings about the win.
by the way my thai lady friend tells me to remind you that pizza co have got buy 1 get 1 free for the next few weeks for takeaways.
if 747 and statto shoved a couple in their gobs it might stop them talking drivel. ha ha!or if you dont like pizza you can shove them up another of your orifices !
dont take it personally guys.im very happy for you.everton a massive win over mighty stoke and newcastle getting a point against that powerful unbeatable hull side.what it is to support a big club.sorry,i forgot you dont know unlike me or irish allan ha ha !

Agree with zidane's analysis of the game 100%. :( :(
Well done LIverpool, they have certainly shown that they can turn it on against the "top" sides this week :D :D
Can't see them winning the Premiership though - too inconsistent against the lower teams in the division.
Torres is certainly a talent, but as fragile as a butterfly - he limps out of every fair tackle he gets involved in. I would be surprised if he can manage another 20 games this season without a rest!!!

Yes hats off to the scouse we were well and truly out classed out done and out of touch. Shocking no Utd playes deserved to wear the shirt a truly gutless performance but hopefully a blip and wont have a bearing in the finish but its doubtfull the scouse will let us forget it plenty of milage for them out of this result. Right that said im off to sulk again cheerio.
