Baz, Sorry for you mate,Your 2nd half showing against us did deserve something,But alas for you the 1st half was your downfall ( You did'nt seem to want to play, until you were 2-0 down ) But NO Way back, the way Everton are at the moment.....Alan.

You are only there on goal difference Baz - no time to panic yet.
Need a couple of wins (especially over those near you) look at Spurs, a couple of wins has zoomed them up the table..

Newcastle must now be one of the favorites for the drop.

Arsenal didn't play at all well, but still won 3 - 1.

Just as we start to get some players back from injury, we get another three limping out of the game.
Bassong has been the only "good" part of the Newcastle defence for weeks, and I've lost count of the times he's covered up for others mistakes. He limps out with a probable groin strain. No probs I think Stevie Taylor can swith back to centre back (not good for FF team as I like him going forward more), but he is used to playing there. Then he gets injured, and limps out. Why did they not make the substitution immediately? Taylor is on the sidelines, getting treatment for an injury that is obviously going to force him off when Arsenal take the lead against the 10 men.
Why o why wasn't it Collocinni who got injured? The guy is a liability. Both Arsenals second and third goals came whilst he was ball watching and letting his man get into space, then when he realises he "jogs" back towards his goal like he is a forward, who is not required to get involved.
If he spent more time playing football and less time running his fingers through his "golden locks" we may not be in such a bad state now.
I never thought I would say this, but, he makes both Titas Bramble and Jean Alain Boomsong look like world class defenders :yikes:

Rant over.

Due to previously mentioned (on FF thread) media blackout, I havn't had a chance to congratulate Souness and IA for their teams fantastic win last week =D>
You never know guys with Vidic,Scholes and Rooney all facing bans now, the door may just have been left open a bit ;)

When you have had as many "rank" defenders in your team as Newcastle have had, you HAVE to be a dreamer.
I'm being serious though both Bramble and Boumsong were better than Fabricio Coloccini, and he's the only b*gger who never gets injured

747, Statistics are showing Titus B. has blocked more goalbound shots than any other defender in the Premiership this season. On saying that i was never a fan of his at the Toon, but i agree with Statto he was better than Collicini is now.

Statto, Boomsong ?????????????????? :yikes: :yikes:
