Re: Fantasy Football
Well I'm happy, moved up to 2nd in my Head to Head league. The top team was dead jammy to get a point when his opposition could only field 10 players.
I have bad feeling about next week. Some difficult fixtures for my squad plus 3 players who are doubtful. Don't really want to take another 4 point hit as the guy I'm playing has a good squad. Decisions, decisions.

Re: Fantasy Football
I can do it without taking a hit...1 transfer, but can do 2....hard to resist very hard indeed.
Souness edging away almost a 100 gap...
Top scorers Gozzo Galee and Souness all 53, would have joined you but for 2 **** M/united players and a crook Hammers hammer with a leg injury whom got dragged on the pitch last night.

Re: Fantasy Football
Transfer for this week done. Doing something a little bit radical with new signing and captain this week.
Next week 2 transfers. Also radical.
The following week after the Master Plan has gone t*ts up might make 6 changes.

Re: Fantasy Football
Mmmm radical ......new captain.....Mmmmm....
I had a master plan....in using 'The Holy Trinity', but it was dependant on 1 player, but that might be on hold, will certainly be looking at in in maybe 1/2 weeks, again spent hours reading a forum about it.....
Doing me head in...and its only a game meant for fun..

Re: Fantasy Football
Had a mad 5 minutes and changed my mind.
Master Plan now gone out of the window. Totally confused. I reckon if I had kept to 1 transfer a week I'd have saved myself about 80 points.
P.S. Changed my captain, yet again.

Re: Fantasy Football
The international media ban has now been lifted on the shirkers after last weeks fiasco.
Had a feeling that if I had posted after last weeks matches, apart from being banned by Lee, I would probably be facing some sort of internet defermation of character law suits from Mssrs Vidic, Fergusson, Megson, and NUFC.
How the hell can a gk and back four amass a grand total of 2 points between them?
This week doesn't look too good either ....... watched sky sports news last night, and apart from Vidic & Richardson being banned, Ireland, Kompany, Bridge, and Dempsey are all "doubtful" with injuries. Add that to the fact that Gardner, Gutierrez, and Heskey are likely to be "on the bench" due to having managers that seem to have "lost interest" in them, and we are down to bare bones in the shirkers squad.
If that "nice" Mr Fergusson, allows Bubbatoff to play, and Obe Martins is fit enough to play consecutive matches (a rarety at Newcastle), I may be able to field half a team [-o<
Two transfers this week, including a "big money" signing.

Re: Fantasy Football
lol. Just seen it myself. I reckon a good buy considering their fixtures. We can always blame StokieBaz if it goes wrong.
I originally had Ireland as Captain, but considering he's doubtful decided it was too risky. That was when I dumped Anelka for Beattie. Making him captain is an act of desperation in trying to catch you. . I must admit I thought you would make Gerrard your captain.
Next week I see that I don't have an opponent in the head to head, so can afford lots of changes and still get 3 points.

Re: Fantasy Football
Yeah agreed a good buy......been reading a lot about FF and he gets mentioned all the time...plus he is part of the plan due to his price....
Yeah took Beattie last week, another wise move i thought...and i see Souness had him in this week also...
Did captain gerrerd and changed it last night to Lamps....how about this, was meant to change it back this morning but missed the deadline by 45 minutes, been very busy this morning and forgot, still wait and see.
Building up to the Holy Trinity.... [-o< have a good team now plus a nice cushion with 7 million in the bank.
i am going to miss this in a few months, still next season will be bigger and better.

Re: Fantasy Football
Dammmmmm Cahill not playing.....and Baines puts 1 in already..(he was a choice for me this week to replace upson.. ) Auto Sub in the shape of Fulham Defender Pantsil.
Re: Fantasy Football
Sacrificed Vidic and Barry in transfers this week to get Gerrard back in my lineup.
If this move turns out to be Sh!ttu then that's ok....I got him, too.

Re: Fantasy Football
1 of my new men has scored.. Crouch for Pompey. I just need my ArseShaven to perform for me as I've made him el kapitano... Now if Crouch can get another goal, not get booked or die on the field of play it might mean the curse-of-the-Irish-witch-ex-mother-in-law has lifted... [-o<

Yeah the old mother-in-law has finally forgiven you......those spells don't last for ever..Or Do They..???...unless she is luring you in to something BIG soon....just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water, be on your guard at all times.
