Three women from Thailand face expulsion from Denmark after being arrested for prostitution without workers permit.
The women – who were in Denmark on a Swedish tourist visa and no working permit – were arrested Saturday in a major police action in a supposed brothel in a basement in Elsinore. Besides the three women a 39 year old Danish man and a 54 year old Thai woman with a Danish citizenship are charged for procuring.
“We have kept an eye of the brothel for three months and have reason to believe that the 54-year old woman earned money on the Thai women’s prostitutionâ€, says deputy police inspector Lau Thygesen.
