Japanese scientists have unveiled a female humanoid walking robot at Tsukuba City, north east of Tokyo.

The robot, named HRP-4C, has 30 motors in its body that allow it to walk and move its arms as well as eight motors on its face to create expressions like anger and surprise.

She will also make a special appearance in a Tokyo fashion show and will go on sale for around $200,000 (£142,000).
Looks very impressive in the video. =D>

I think Japanese women the most beautiful in the world. The chances of me getting to know a Japanese girl are, give or take, about say, about, nil. #-o So this lovely pretty robot, who has a selection of wonderful sweet facial expressions, its the nearest i would ever get. So, sad bars**** that i obviously am, if i was a rich sad bars****, i'd pay the £142,000. Well, it'd make me happy! :D

Not sure why my post was deleted....

anyway i said, yeah she is pretty...but it looks like she has crapped herself......which she does, not offensive to her as she is a robot, so purely an observation, sure i am not the only person in the world who thought that.

and yes beautiful women from japan(even the robots)...Grrrrrrr (to the real ones)

The Chinese word for Japanese means, 'east-ocean dwarf pirate' because the Chinese noticed that the legs of many of the women/men are thick and dwarfish.

The problem with the Japanese is that they're still concentrating on a mechatronic solution to developing an android/robot. They haven't yet got around to blending mechatronics with a biological dimension. Imagine what you could create with a robot that has flesh and blood.... ;) :-k

I must admit i have seen many Japanese females, in films, Japanese Idols, on youtube, models, and to be fair to the Chinese, haven't noticed any with legs that are thick and dwarfish! Maybe its the men, which somehow i don't notice so much. Or, could it be that the Chinese like the Japanese, as the Scots like the English, as the English like the French, like Arsenal fans like Tottenham fans, Everton fans like Liverpool FC fans, in other words, being a bit biased in their views!? :-k In London as usual, many Japanese female tourists travel the tube, and i always give them top customer service, as i am a model employee. On the other hand, one could argue, if they all had thick and dwarfish legs, i may just not bother, and just stay in the control room! [-X

Absolutely...

I think it comes from the old tributary sytem that China ran in which the Celestial Empire is at the top of the hierarchy and everyone else is an inferior, ignorant barbarian from whom the Chinese had nothing to learn, but the barbarians had to acknowlege the facts of China's superiority through the kowtow.

The British, bless their souls, smashed that belief and tributary system to bits

Based appearances, I wouldn't be offering her a lady drink anytime soon.
