air quality

Post by whittler » March 20, 2009, 1:34 am

I read where the air can get pretty bad at times up north. Does this happen in Udon Thani ? This is important

to me because I have asthma.

Thanks,

north side really sucks this year, i'm amazed at the level of smoke/smog in air. it's usually hard to shock me, but this is definitely an eye opener. news the other day, talking about flights cancelled because of visibility, too true. unsafe level starts at 120 part per whatever, its was 244, more than double :yikes:

nice place, MHS, but i think that would be vacation time for me, couple months while they finish burning everything

Udon Thani has a reputation of having cleaner air than say even Khon kaen, it always seems to have some wind coming from somewhere, sure it can get a touch off at the morning rush hour ofpr evening rush hour, but on the whole it is very acceptable. if you live even outside the ring road, it is very good a few more kilos and it is great.
better than from my experience : Phuket,Pattaya, bangkok, Rayong, Chonburi, Korat, kohn kaen, Chiang mai, Chiang Rai,

But we are not all the same.
