Or maybe he had an ulterior motive and wished to dress all Brits up as killers and drug dealers because he doesn't like the British. Now is that in the rule book, Moderators? I see that as tantamount to hijacking a thread.

now , now, no need to complain to the moderators - I think the guy was just being a bit self righteous , as to not liking the British - well everyone is entitled to there opinion ( even I have been slagged off once or twice ) however I think a couple of us have made our point - that when it comes to drugs trafficking - people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones

What's this, the hard cop soft cop routine? This wasn't complaining, just a polite question to the Moderators (with an ulterior motive of course). But I see your point, don't go anywhere near a glass house when you're stoned.

A couple of years ago in england a father of a girl who went into a coma and then died after taking 1 E sucessfuly brought a case to the bailey,so that the pig who sold it was also charged with manslaughter.Heroin is a slow killer. within the drug culture suppliers are known as dealers of death.
Irish control Alcante in spain for hash from morrocco and coke from west africa,IRA are supplying arms to dublin based gangs.Recently garda got 40kg of grade 4 heroin 100% pure and 17 gloch pistols.Brain Meehan who is currently serving life for the shooting of Veronica Gurien is the main suspect and organised the deal from his cell, all these people are scum and i stand over what i said the last 4 arrests made here were english if they were irsh i would have exspressed same opinion but as they were not i would of being off topic.
The reason some asian countries still have and use capital punishment for heroin is because countries of originknow better than anyone the effect it can have, punishment fits the crime.I watched ruthless scum destroy a generation in 80's in dublin. As the addict's shot up the scum got very wealthy.Truth is sometimes hard to swallow.HANG THEM

Ulick, save it - I've been watching you bashing Brits ever since you've breezed into this Forum. So please don't take the moral high ground with me, you silly little excuse for a man.

it's sad but comical, saw a couple weekly programs, non yank, maybe brit or aussie series about knocked up or something. about people getting busted, always cry set up, but by the end of the show, admit they made mistake.

unless a complete set up, which is doubtful......................can't do the time..........

it's well known drug laws are strict here, so he'll do 8 then get released to his home country, boo hoo. :censored:
LA it was british/american, called Banged up Abroad, several different stories with the same outcome most guilty of greed to one degree or another. Most to do with drugs and one or to to do with bullion smuggling. Yes for many reasons they got involved with the wrong people and should not have done it in far off places, and all thought they would never get caught and where very sorry. It was an interesting series as it also highlighted that some of them where patsies given to the police by the dealers so it would look like they are doing there job whilst taking the money.
Everybody happy except the mule as most where.i think seymourebutts said he thought something similar had gone on here, perhaps ? Anyway they should not have been at it and should not be bleating now I agree an ounce of smack or coke is a lot to have for personal.

Whatever, you're an insecure little Irish wannabe who's got a hang up about the British. End of story.

Look ' the fact of the matter is - they wer'e dealing in drugs - they deserved a custodial sentence , do it in Thailand - they knew full well what they was getting into - and had they got away with it - they would be pissing themselves laughing at us - debating what is wrong or right? - oh and let's not forget - muggings here - the taxpayer, has to pay for their 'housing and welfare ' -when they get out

Agreed - thanks for bringing it back on topic. It makes me wonder what goes through these guys minds when they want to deal in heroin in Thailand. A bit like looking for a fight in Baghdad...

It's alright -they will write a book about it , a few TV shows , how they was abused by the system , how they are trying to help others, - in the mean time we have got to go to work.

Why should I condemn them? I'm more interested in exposing your efforts at hijacking another person's thread because you want to condemn all Brits.

Beware: When Britain is at war, and under attack, so are the Dominions and the whole of the Empire.

Wow, those were the good old days!

As for the people apprehended with drugs, they must be subjected to the law of the land in which they were caught.
