Re: Favourite Music.
Calle 4 knee ahhh, has been slowly dying off, as with Winds of Change , probably since the Filipino band/s that was resident at the Cellar Pub went home.
Unfortunately my budget doesnt allow me to do a random check of karoke venues that are so loved by the Asians.
Applausing someone who cant sing is just not on.

Hi all in the room i came across this little ditty the other day. As im too thick to post links you will have to look it up. Its by Delor'es o'Riordan this was the the singer out of the cranberrie's and Pavorotti singing Ava Maria at a concert for sarejevo just so melodic specially when the pav comes in. check it out and let me and the guys know what you think.

Re: Favourite Music.
I think this may be the one vlad is alluding to:
<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/LRsAbOLXFNk&hl ... ram><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/LRsAbOLXFNk&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>[/youtube]
After listening to it, I came to the conclusion Ms O'Riordan makes Ms Boyle look as though she really can sing.
She shoulda' stuck to Zombie - you can watch it here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PercsX2- ... L&index=12
BTW - right at the beginning of the latter clip, if you look at Ms O'Riordan's turquoise trousers, you would swear she had a todger in there

Yes I couldn't find it on youtube. So you take the credit on this one JS.
Vlad will have an orgasm again viewing it.
Yes. O'riordan better at Zombie style singing

Re: Favourite Music.
To me, House of the Rising Sun is about the only classic on that list, but then I was brought up listening to 1950s rock and roll and am no expert.
For example, songs like Heartbreak Hotel, Great Balls of Fire, Breathless, Only the Lonely, Sweet Little Sixteen, Good Golly Miss Molly, That'll Be the Day, Be-Bop-a-Lula, Sea Cruise, Hello Mary Lou, New Orleans, Ain't That A Shame, Don't Be Cruel, Jailhouse Rock, Walk the Line, and so on should be on any rock classics list.

Tilo, the 3 CD's cover the 60's, 70's and 80's respectively. If there was a 50's CD I'm sure many of the tracks you mentioned would be on it.
