The first track played was in fact Johnny Dankworth's Beefeaters, which Tony Blackburn used as his theme tune for Daily Disc Delivery. And before that, listeners heard the specially commissioned Theme One by George Martin.

now , that would be a C D i would bye !!! incidently , how can any compilation of british music from the 60s and 70s not include , the who , kinks , merseybeats , swinging blue jeans , jerry and his pacemaker , hermans hemeroids , and of course the creme de la creme the evergreen rolling stones , whom i personaly think were the greatest rock band of all time , with 19th nervous breakdown , there greatest ever track . just the opinion of an oldie who obviously had a grand old time in his teenage years , love and peace people !!!!!!Tilokarat wrote:Oh, I see.
