Re:Steve Ridgley
Good grief !!!
I went to Mojo's a few weeks ago & was told that Steve had been taken off to hospital that day....
I certainly hope this is not as serious as it sounds - he has not been blessed with the best of luck while he has been in Udon has he?????

Re: Steve Ridgley
Just got off the phone with a freind in Udon. He tells me it was a pull your own gun out and hold it to your head job. Very sad if that was the case.laphanphon wrote:WTF is going on here. anymore info would be appreciated, domestic or robbery. if robbery, can't see steve putting up a fight, not that stupid. this is a bit scary. a pleasant bloke, RIP.

I respect going out on your own terms though. Might be how I go too, time will tell.

Poor guy, may he rest in peace.
One hopes that if he has a family, they are well taken care of in the future.

That was my first idea for 'V's' Yeah, I am with you on that, just fall asleep.laphanphon wrote:valiums, i would prefer just to fall asleep...................
Besides condolences for family he left behind, my only real comment is that I respect his wishes to leave this life on his own terms.
Re: Steve Ridgley
His health for 3 or more years had been bad, do not know if he suffered a terminal diease, however his constant stays in a hospital were a drain on resources.
It is ad that the way he decided to end his life was so violent.
however it was his choice, a loss to his wife and her family as well as his family in England.
Rest in peace steve, you do deserve it. Paul

Re: Steve Ridgley
I just received this so the timing is close. The ceremony will be Wat Ban Khao San, I am not clear about the directions beyond that the temple is on the road to Ban Thad, pass Ban Thad continue past the Post Office and make a U-turn to the temple. The ceremony is slated to be at 1330 and the burn at 1500 today, the 21st. Sorry, I have no further on the directions.
