Because he still wants it locked. I have to admit that I find such a post a little distasteful and would rather see it gone. But if people still find it relevant and have something to add then crack on. After all, I don't have to read it.

Some cases are in and out....a recent theft case at airport seemed fast enough, i know people that have been collared by the law been dealt with with-in a few weeks if not days, if its above board sure it will seep out somewhere sometime, unless $$$$$ are involved.

And don't get me started on the locking of threads..!!

Local radio are just reporting the arrest of a 73 year old American(Californian) on charges of engaging in sexual activity with a 13 year old girl.....The accused said the girl offered her services to him, however the child said she was promised he would buy her a mobile phone.

Just re-read what Val post a few weeks ago and it just saddens that a grown man can lay the blame at a child's door for being led on while her explanation of being promised a mobile 'phone is entirely plausible. Of course, this may all be alleged and we've heard no more of the case, it's just that I find it all a bit bleak.

Children must receive full protection from the authorities if this nation insists on maintaining its sex industry.

Well as this is obviously a dig at me i will reply. I stopped updating any news information I posted as it was only leading to insults and innuendos against me personally. Well thats fine with me. I have been insulted by professionals so the petty niggling from "some" forum members is like water off a ducks back. If any member is seriously interested in either of the two cases I mentioned previously ,want the latest information I have on either. A Pm request will bring an immediate reply.

You start a public thread about a quite serious subject, and now you have further information, but seemingly will only release it via private mail.

Why is this so? If you are worried about further insults, is it not only "water off a duck's back"?

Unless there is a compelling reason to do otherwise, I, for one, look forward to the updates being released in exactly the same format as the original information - ie in the public forum =D>

I started a thread about a VERY serious subject Jack, but it wasn,t treated in a serious manner, but turned into the usual forum slanging match. I will not join in this childish, petty banter. OK on a humorous matter , no problem, but these involved a murder and child molestation. In my book not insignificant crimes. I am not withholding further information, just offering it by PM to those with a genuine interest and concern. Not publishing it on open forum to those that use it as an opportunity to score petty points against myself, completely ignoring the distress of the victim and relatives.

While I agree with the comment of publishing pohotos, may i remind you all until convicted it is alleged, hence the time constraints on justice being dealt with any publication could be considered by the defence as a judgement prior to the actual court case.
Following a succesful conviction publish yes i agree, but before, one must be a tad careful.

If the guy's photo was published now (which I don't believe it should be), it would not make one iota of difference to the impending legal proceedings.

Don't confuse "advanced" western systems with what happens in Thailand.

i sometimes wonder how many paedophiles are out here among us and we dont know!!! i knew of one in phuket, very senior man on the kings cup comittee.. he was part of ring of them, all well to do and very connected... after the tsunami he offered to take in young boys who were homeless and orphaned etc etc

Fawn,That was the PAUL STRAKER thread on his 19 year old chickie-dee......got binned...along with some of his other posts.....but Fy's comment don't work, if a man was 65 and has a girl 25 years younger she will be 40....how does that make him a peedo...?....if he is 40 and she is 25 years younger then yes he would be classed as one.....so fy's comment holds no weight in part.
