Outside the Bristol Zoo In England, There is a parking lot for 150 cars and 8 coaches or buses.
It was manned by a very pleasant attendant with a ticket machine charging cars 1 pound and coaches 5 pound.
This parking attendant worked there for 25 years. Then one day he didn't turn up for work. After a few days the Zoo management contacted the City Council to send another parking attendant. the council replied No, that parking lot is your responsibility.
No it isn't said the Zoo management. The attendant was employed by the City Council wasn't he?
No he wasn't replied the council.
So sitting in a lovely villa somewhere in the sun, is a happy bloke who had been taking the parking fees, estimated to be at least 400 pound a day from Bristol zoo for the last 25 years. Assuming 7 days a week, over 3 million pounds.
And no one even knows his name.
