Oh well, a mid table start for a mid table manager :? Still got Torres to come but so has half the planet.

I think with a bit of shuffling I can manage 9 players for Game week 2 so not overly hopeful of making any giant leaps midweek. Time for the "Wildcard" :-k

Colchester still top of the league though \:D/

Thai_tan, you're off to a good start. Maybe I should have been listening closer when you mentioned Drogba. Souness seems to have picked up where he left off last season. He must have a crystal ball? I've still got Torres (C), Carragher and Rooney to play tonight. A hat trick or two woulld be nice.

Thaifliers? 747man? Better keep your daytime job.

Souness is downright scary, making Drogba captain? He either has a crystal ball or is house sharing with Mystic Meg!

I'd hate to be a Liverpool fan getting into 747's taxi today.

What's going on with next week's games that I don't know about, BM? Well, there's a LOT I don't know about this game, admittedly. A short schedule of fixtures? Too early yet to use the wild card. Maybe it's time to bring out my dark horse candidate? :-k

I see joint leaders this morning with b.m. and souness both on 67.....A good night for b.m. =D>
The rest of us with some catching up to do already.
Torres,Kuyt,Mascherano and Keane amassed me the grand total of 7 points last night. :(
747 up to 10 points and at least Liverpool lost,eh !
Just when I thought our chance had passed, you go and save the best for last.

Mmm could be a bit of a disaster this week.....Only 7 men playing now....
2 free subs after this game week will perk it back up, will have a nail biting few days though, but following game week will be a decent scoring week i reckon,

I am going to take a chance and take a four point hit. There is the possibility of some sound thrashings midweek so I am hoping it pays off. Still only got 10 players though and realistically one of them is unlikely to play but hoping the others come good [-o<
I really have to stop swapping the captain every 5 minutes

I don't effing well believe it.
Spent effing weeks on my squad to make sure I had a strong team for GW2. What happened, sweet FA. Those last minute changes on Saturday morning have cost me a ton of points. Despite promising to myself that I wouldn't make wholesale changes every week, one very pissed off manager has already made 3, with possibly more to come.
To add to the frustration other FF games I'm in like CYKI, I'm doing really well, top 100, yet I don't take the time to pick my team as much as I do on our FF game.
Congrats to Stephen for getting to No1. See that he had a good score last year. Looks like he knows what's he's doing, which is more than can be said for me.

A huge surge up the table compared to 1st. week nearly double points.
This despite had players on 2nd. week whose TEAM did not even play
Two players contributed nearly two thirds of my points, however the one who contributed most was not even captain - which he was for week one, could have been so much better.. :D :D
Week 3 & I am frustrated already....

I thought I was doing OK last night, even with Rooney letting the side down, as I was expecting quite low scores but then checked and I had slipped down 2 places :?
But I worked out my score had I not taken the 4 point hit for an extra transfer and it would have been a lot worse so got to look on the bright side I guess.

Talking of the bright side, the mighty Colchester Utd are still top of the league \:D/

Very pleased with my 61 points as I only had 9 players available !
I see 3 Liverpool fans in the top 4 places.....a cause for concern ??

A Tidy score Zid.......un-like mine, scored 2 out of all my defenders.....chose Gooney for el-capitano.. and got 2......Reliable Lampstand and Stevie did well...and thats it, Don't trust Foster.....Don't trust anyone From Man Yoo, what a shambles, lost too many places in all the leagues i am in.....Ohhhh the embarrassment.

I with you Galee...i will be hitting the transfers to stop the rot in the early stages.

I give up. Bloody stupid game.

Last 3 captains have been:-

Lampard 4pts
Rooney 2pts
Frabregas 2pts

Have taken another 4pt hit to get rid of injured Fabregas, who I took a 4pt hit for to get into my team this week.

For a small fee I'll let you know who I'm making captain next week so that you can avoid him. :D

I made Rooney captain this week \:D/ simply because I thought he and Man U couldn't be that bad twice on the trot against poor opposition. Fergie did throw a spanner in the works by taking him off after 72 mins and also not starting O'Shea and then bringing him on. I had Parnaby waiting to replace him who scored 6 with a Birmingham clean sheet.
Can't complain though, provisionally rose 6 places in the League with the possibility of some decent points to come [-o<

Colchester lost 2-1 at MK Dons to reliquish top spot :crying:

here is my tip for the year.......get rid of man utd players.
two many midfielders and defenders in their squad.
fergie has too many for all to get a game and will rotate them too often or even worse, they will be substituted.
that will cost points.
stick with regulars and you wont go wrong.
